| Dr. & Myra Martin Willis & Myra have five of the most beautiful retrievers. We trained their Chesapeake Bay Retriever Saba to be a Gun Dog. Saba was very trainable and willing to please. She completed our Gun Dog course and went home to wait for hunting season to start. While Saba was in training we placed our beloved Master Hunter Rosie with Willis and Myra. Willis fell in love with Rosie and offered to give her a beautiful retirement home. Rosie was a perfect fit. We placed Rosie for two reasons; First she needed more attention than we could possibly give her; second she did not have a normal cycle. As soon as Rosie became comfortable in her new home she came into season and was breed to a very nice yellow male. Rosie had 4 puppies and Myra kept all 4. We trained Richard, Abby and Callie to their AKC Senior Titles and Magnum to his AKC Master title. Magnum continues to compete in AKC Master test so he can do what he loves during the non-hunting season. |

Mitch has really enjoyed hunting with Cash and has recieved nothig but complements on Cash's abilities in the blind. Cash returned to RWR Kennels to compete for his AKC Master title. Cash completed four for six Master tests and needs one more pass for his title.
Mitch sent his second retriever to us. Her name is Briley and she is very well breed. Briley is a calm but hard running little girl. In 10 months of training Briley went four for four at her AKC Senior testing. Briley came into season and had to go home for hunting season. |
| Ray Bell Ray has a three year old Female Chocolate Labrador
Retriever named Brownie. Brownie came to us as an AKC Junior Hunter but could not qualify at an AKC Senior Hunt Test and had failed four AKC Senior hunt Test in a row. We had Brownie for four months and completely retrained her in the fundamentals of retrieving. Once we re-established Brownie's foundation we finished her training to an AKC Senior Level. Brownie passed four straight AKC Senior Hunt Tests. Before Brownie went home we ran her in an AKC Master Hunt test and Brownie made it to the third series before being dropped.
We trained Ray's second retriever, Star. Star is a beautiful young Black Labrador Retriever and the daughter of Brownie. Star is a hard running little girl and got her AKC Junior Hunter Title after just four months of training, her AKC Senior title after 10 months of training, and her AKC Master title after 18 months of training. Star is home enjoying the hunting seasons and retrieving a ton of ducks. We recently started training Ray's third Retriever Missy. Missy is very well breed and intelligent. Frank & Mary SwitzerFrank & Mary have a solid male Black Labrador Retriever named Tank. Tank came to us at 18 months of age with a lot of retrieving desire. Tank titled as an AKC Junior Hunter in four months of training and titled as an AKC Senior Hunter in the spring of 2004. Tank is the second retriever we have trained for Frank & Mary. We currently have Junior, Katie and Mickey in training. Junior and Katie are doing great and on their way to AKC Master titles and Mickey is working on becoming a first class gun dog.
Client Quote: Hi Richard,Just wanted to let you know that Tank did good at the dove hunt yesterday. At first he wanted to go after every bird, but he calmed down and did real well afterwards. Had a small problem at first because he wouldn't use his nose. But by the end, he was finding every one of them. And your right, they were all in the back and we had to keep taking the feathers out of his mouth, but he really enjoyed hunting with us. Others saw him and said how well behaved and well trained he was. Mary and I are real happy with him. Now we have someone to go hunting with besides each other. Just wanted to let you know how he did. Frank & Mary |
