RWR Kennels new kennel built December 2007

RWR Kennels moved to our new kennel on January 1st 2008. It is an indoor kennel and will provide your retriever with the comfort and safety needed for a successful stay while with us for their training. Each run is 5' X 8' (40 square feet) with solid walls separating each kennel.

All kennels are sanitized using a chlorinator first thing in the morning when the retrievers are aired and loaded for training and in the evening, after feeding, while the retrievers are airing and exercising. The chlorinator mixes tap water and chlorine to a consistency of swimming pool water. We bleach and power spray kennels weekly. On the rare occasion a retriever messes their kennel it is cleaned immediately and flushed with the chlorinator.

This is the six acres our kennel is located on. We have lived and conducted our fundamental training here for four years.

This is what the land looked like in February 2007 when we bought it. We started clearing the land in June 2007 and moved into the kennel and house in January 2008.

This is the fourth complete year of using our new kennel and this is what we have completed.

In June 2011 we purchased the 25 acres (named Meadow's Field after our grand daughter) connected to the back of our property. It has a nice pond and field on the southern end and we are turning the remainder into fields for training.
